What is a good gym workout to help improve long, skinny legs?

You may want to try a stair climber to give your legs more definition. Another great way to add some shape to your legs is to elevate your treadmill to where you are walking up hill. Squats and lunges will also give your legs that sexy shapely look.

For one, stay away from fast food, fried foods, salty foods, too many carbs and sweets. You can rbopably get a book on healthy eating for different food ideas. Basically, you want to eat more healthy, protein foods. Such as an egg and two egg whites with some cheese in the morning. You can make with a corn tortill and salsa or have oatmeal, and fruit. Things like that. For lunch try to have tuna, or chicken on wheat bread of a chicken/tuna salad. For dinner, try to eat more meats, veggies, salads. SInce you’re young, you don’t want to cut out carbs completely, but stick to the healthier ones, like rice, potates, sweet potatoes(a great one), etc. Make sure you never skip meals and always eat two snacks per day too. Eat a mid morning snack and a mid afternoon snack. You can have fruit, a cheese string, cottage cheees, nuts, yogurt, etc. Eating three meals per day and healthy snacks will speed up your metabolism, and it will help you to lose weight faster. If you skip meals, your metabolism will slow down and when you go to eat, you’ll gain weight fast. Also, drink a lot of water throughout the day. That is very important. I would exercise 3-4 times per week. Make sure you do cardio for at least 20-30 minutes. Of course more is better. Don’t worry about calories right now. If you eat as I stated above, you will lose weight. Try looking at the Zone Diet book, becasue that explains a lot about healthy fat, protein, etc. I would eat in the morning around 7:00 or 8:00. Eat a mid morning snack around 10:00, lunch around 12:30, mid afternoon snack around 3:00 and dinner around 6:00. If you are hungry after dinner, eat a healthy snack around 8:00, but not too close to when you go to bed. I hope that helps. Good luck.

Ok, so look what’s up! Umm I started the gym just a day ago. But its been long since I did any exercise! The problem is that, I run out of breath!! But yet I don’t get tired !! What can I go to even this out??

Running out of breath is quite common, especially with cardio exercises. Providing you have gotten the okay from your doctor to exercise, I would start taking deeper breaths and try to even out the pace of your breathing. That should help. I also listen to my body’s queues when I run out of breath. You may just need to take a break, and grab some water.

I used to be 5’6 and 200 pndous. Now I’m 5’6 and 135 pndous. To be honest, the more dieting you do, and the more you micromanage your intake the harder it will be for you to lose weight. You have to change your lifestyle completely. First of all, look for an adult sports league in your city. I’m in adult league soccer, and that was the first step I took. It’s better than working out in a gym because you don’t have to be embarrassed about your body. You can go out to eat once a week, but cut fast food out of your diet COMPLETELY. I went out to eat fastfood almost every day and I blamed it on being a workaholic and not having time to eat healthy. After I started losing weight by playing soccer, I met a turkish guy and in the past 4 months of being with him, I’ve lost 35 more pndous from eating delicious turkish food. Lots of bread, eggs, tomatoes and other veggies, fruits, and feta cheese. I recommend you hang out with other people who eat healthy, as well.I also got a dog who I go on long walks with, too. Do workouts that are FUN. I lost all that weight by having fun and eating good food. I hate the gym. Don’t take yourself too seriously.
