Belly Fat Exercises

Needing some good belly fat exercises? After losing 40 pounds, I still look down at my stomach knowing that I need to tone up. I want my abs to look like Janet Jackson’s, and I know that I have a lot of work to do. In Janet’s book, True You she talks about her issues with building self esteem and weight. I love how honest she is about her struggles with weight loss, and how it takes real work and determination to get where you want to be.

Running Is An Excellent Belly Fat Exercise

In order to stay on track, I run at least 3 miles most every night. Lately, I have had a lot of to do so I have made a few excuses, but I will jump on that treadmill tonight, pop on my Bruno Mars music and get to work. The following are some great belly fat exercises that I have discovered through some internet research.

I will be putting these exercises into practice starting next week! Janet has a personal trainer, Tony Martinez that helped her get back into shape. She worked out six days a week with 45 minutes of cardio each day and muscle strength training that ranged from squats to lunges. She mixed up her cardio with kickboxing, running stadium stairs, jogging on the beach, basketball, and swinging away in batting cages. She works on her legs twice a week with reverse lunges, toe touches, and leg presses. There were upper body workouts also twice a week with push ups, pull downs, and shoulder lateral raises. Janet also focused on ab exercises three times a week. That workout is tremendous, and includes great exercises for blasting belly fat.

In Addition To Belly Fat Exercises, Check Your Diet

The article also noted that Janet’s diet alone accounts for 80% of her great toned abs. Good to know! She watched her meal portions and consumed a diet combination of complex carbohydrates, lean proteins, and good fats. She would eat four meals a day, and her calorie intake ranged from 1000 – 1400 calories a day. Janet cut out processed foods, white foods like flour and sugar, along with alcohol and soda. She also drank 60 – 70 ounces of water each day.

I think that I will add the strength training to my workout, and go back to alternating between 3 to 5 miles on the treadmill five or six times a week. I have a rather large workload, so my time is limited. I have plateaued with my weight loss plan, and I need to jump back on the bandwagon. Here’s to some invigorating belly fat exercises! Wish me luck!
